In the reporting period, the Uzbek railway company transported economic goods for 57.9 million, including 8.2 million tonnes through transit.
Uzbekistan Temir Yollari state said passenger turnover comprised 1.94 billion passenger-km, which is up 6.9% year-on-year. The company said it transported 11.526 million passengers in the reporting period. The growth rate made up 898,800 passengers.
Total volume of exports of services made up US$153.682 million in nine months of 2009, while the forecast was US$146.88 million. The growth rate comprised 14.6% year-on-year. The volume of service import made up US$12.9 million in the reporting period.
Industrial enterprises of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari increased production of goods by 14.9% year-on-year to 113.3 billion soums.
Production of consumer goods rose by 45.1% to 730.2 million soums. The company’s enterprises rendered services for 18.4 billion soums, which is up 8.4% year-on-year.
In line with Investment Programme, the company plans to utilize 347.7 billion soums, including own funds - 286.5 billion soums and foreign investments - 61.2 billion soums (US$43.04 million).
