Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 February, the final fights of the traditional 72nd International Boxing Tournament "Strandja" took place in Sofia (Bulgaria). About 300 strongest boxers from 35 countries of the world took part in it.

This year, Uzbekistan was represented by national teams of men and women.

In the final fights among men, Bobousmon Baturov (weight category up to 69 kg) with a score of 5:0 won a convincing victory over Evgeny Barabanov from Ukraine, Dilshodbek Ruzmetov (up to 81 kg) also won a convincing victory over Ruslan Kolesnikov from Russia with a score of 5:0 and Bakhodir Jalolov (+91 kg) with a score of 4:1 defeated Tsotne Rogava from Ukraine, they won gold medals and became the winners of the tournament.

Shakhobiddin Zoirov (up to 52 kg), Asadkhuja Muydinkhuzhaev (up to 63 kg) and Navbahor Khamidova (up to 69 kg) won bronze medals.

According to the results of the completed competition, the men's team of Uzbekistan took first place in the overall team classification, the second place was taken by the national team of Bulgaria, the third was Ukraine.
