Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 19 to 23 June, Bishkek hosts the tenth Umut Forum of Young Cinema of the CIS countries. Filmmakers from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, India, China and Tajikistan take part in it.
16 paintings participate in the national competition. This was announced at a press conference by film critic Gulbara Tolomushova.
According to her, in 2022 it is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the People’s Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, film director Gennady Bazarov, as well as the theme of ecology.
There are two competitions in the program of the forum: national - 16 films, diploma works and paintings by students; international - 15 films, including films by directors from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and China.
