Uzbekistan was presented at the 13th International Culture Festival, which was held at Renmin University of China (RUC). The Uzbek students of the university actively participated in the festival.

The festival was aimed at creating platform for dialogue among various cultures, which will help to improve knowledge of students and help them to feel as citizens of the world, Yang Huilin, vice-president of the university, said.

Yang Huilin visited the stand of Uzbekistan and said that he had chance to familiarize with traditions of Uzbek people, its heritage and hospitality.

The pavilion of Uzbekistan allowed the guests of the festival to familiarize with rich culture and history of Uzbekistan. The presentation of Uzbekistan at the festival will help to strengthen cultural cooperation with other countries.

The Uzbek pavilion also presented national cuisine, including pilaf. Young photographs Nigina Sunnatova, Aigul Hashimova and others presented their exhibition, which demonstrated historic monuments, nature and traditions of Uzbekistan.
