Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan exported 2.1 tons of fresh fruit to Kuwait over the past two weeks.

Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ayubkhon Yunusov met with the CEO of Star Fruit Co. Abdurakhmon Surur, reports Dunyo news agency.

During the negotiations, it was noted that over the past two weeks, 2.1 tons of fresh fruit were brought from Uzbekistan to Kuwait, which will be supplied to prestigious Kuwaiti restaurants.

The high quality and taste of Uzbek fruits were emphasized, and they also expressed interest in further supplies to Kuwait.

The parties agreed to study this issue with exporters from Surkhandarya and Bukhara regions of Uzbekistan.
