Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The state unitary enterprise Center "Uzaeronavigatsiya" under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan has launched a new project to reorganize the structure of the airspace of Uzbekistan in accordance with the requirements and recommendations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

As part of this project, it is planned to optimize the classification of air borders and develop an optimal network of air routes. Particular attention is paid to the introduction of routes and flight patterns that take into account navigation characteristics, as well as a single flight level.

The project is divided into six main stages, with completion planned by early 2025. The implementation of this project is carried out with the participation of specialists from the State Unitary Enterprise Center “Uzaeronavigation” and foreign consultants.

This project opens up new prospects for the national provider of air navigation services, making it one of the leaders in the quality and efficiency of the services provided in the region. It is also an important step towards the in-depth integration of Uzbekistan’s air navigation into the global air navigation system.
