The sides plan to attract 170,000 tourists from Karakalpakstan, Tashkent city and regions to Khorezm in low tourism season – in November-March.

New economic and low-budget tours to Khorezm region were developed, which envisages visits to historic sites of Khiva, Khazarasp, Shavat and Ellik-Kala in Karakalpakstan.

Hotels, tour operators, catering and transport companies and others are ready to accept the tourists, the State Tourism Committee said.

Promotional campaign was launched in the regions of Uzbekistan. Tour operators are visiting the Uzbek regions to attract tourists.
