Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  The International Forum "Commonwealth of Fashion," dedicated to the development of the light industry in CIS countries, concluded in St. Petersburg. Uzbekistan actively participated in the forum, presenting its achievements in the leather and textile industry and outlining the potential for further cooperation.

The Uzbek delegation, including representatives from the Uzcharmsanoat Association, leading educational institutions, and businesses, showcased significant progress in modernizing and reforming the sector. During the plenary session, successful cases illustrating the implementation of innovative technologies and the growth of export potential were presented.

Key issues related to the development of the light industry were discussed during the forum, including economic prospects, labor market challenges, the need for educational programs, and attracting investments. Forum participants emphasized the importance of state support and coordinated efforts to achieve sustainable sector growth.
