The state and prospects of bolstering bilateral relations, including within the framework of international organizations, were discussed during the talks, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
It was underscored that encouraging contacts on different levels plays a major role in deepening Uzbek-Saudi cooperation.
A mutual interest in enhancing trade, economic and investment ties, in strengthening cooperation in cultural and humanitarian spheres was affirmed.
The sides also exchanged opinions on international and regional issues.
On the same day bilateral political consultations, which were a continuation of the first stage of negotiations that took place in November 2010 in Riadh, were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Saudi Ambassador Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Shaie took part in the consultations.
