Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Officials of the Ministries of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia held a meeting in Tashkent.
During the meeting, the issues of studying Russian best practices in the field of equipment, conducting a firearm library and DNA laboratories in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation were discussed.
In order to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas related to forensic activities, the Uzbek side proposed to work out the possibility of concluding a bilateral memorandum between the Main Forensic Expertise Center of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Forensic Expertise Center of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed at the meeting.
