These issues were discussed at the meeting of the delegations of Uzbekistan and Russia at the Ministry of Culture of Russia.
Advisor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Russia Ravshanbek Alimov said that the Uzbek side is interested to continue and expand cooperation in culture. He noted that Russian culture is a part of cultural life of Uzbekistan.
He called the Russian side to send the famous Russian theatres to visit Uzbekistan, including State Academic Bolshoi Theatre.
Alimov said that the Uzbek side is ready to create all conditions to organize trips of theatres to Uzbekistan. He said that the Uzbek theatres could also present their works in Russia.
Russian Deputy Culture Minister Aleksandr Juravskiy promised to discuss issues of organizing trips to Uzbekistan with the Russian theatres.
