Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan ranks third in the world in terms of the number of students studying abroad.

According to the UNESCO Institute for Statistics, as of 1 January 2023, the number of Uzbek students receiving education abroad amounted to 150,500. Over the past year, this number has increased by nearly 24,000.

China and India hold the first and second positions, with 1.05 million and 621,600 students, respectively.
