Uzbekistan raises minimal experience for pension appointment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan raised minimal experience for pension appointment from 5 to 7 years.

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a law “On amendments and addenda to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan” on 25 April.

Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan passed the law on 30 March and Senate approved it on 31 March. The document came into force on 26 April.

The document amended the law “On state pension provision of the citizens”. The amendments are directed to chance requirements to appointment of pensions during incomplete work experience.

The persons, who have not enough work experience (for men – at least 25 years and women – 20) pension on age is offered to appoint at the size, proportionally to existing experience, when experience is not less than seven years (now – five years).
