The report of Uzbekistan on fighting human trafficking said that Uzbekistan is working on revealing people, who suffered from human trafficking, and necessary assistance is rendered to them. Law enforcement bodies and public organizations established cooperation and they hold explanation work among population.

The document said establishment of specialized institutes envisaged in legislation of Uzbekistan and they focus on social rehabilitation of victims of human trafficking.

Rehabilitation work envisage legal, psychological and medical aid, help in employment and temporary habitation, the UN News Center.

The document underlines that Uzbekistan pays special attention to fighting human trafficking in high level. It said that the Uzbek President Islam Karimov approved a resolution “On measures on increasing efficiency of fight against human trafficking”, while the country adopted national plan on combating human trafficking.
