Uzbekistan produces localized goods for 8.7 trln soums

Uzbekistan produced localized goods for over 8.7 trillion soums in January-September 2013, which rose by 1.4 times year-on-year, a publication of Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan, published in local media, said.
In the result, the estimated effect of import-replacement rose almost twice and reached over US$4 billion.
Uzbekistan started production of 76 new localized goods, including pumps, synthetic threads, air, oil and fuel filters, cosmetics, batteries, safe glasses for cars, microwave ovens, and others.
