The highest growth rate on consumer goods production was recorded in Syrdarya region (40.6%), Surkhandarya region (38.4%) and Navoi region (38.2%).
The lowest rate was registered in Tashkent city (4.8%) and Jizzakh region (7.8%) in the reporting period. Production of consumer goods decreased by 1.9% in Samarkand region, the committee noted.
The State Statistics Committee said Tashkent city (205 billion soums), Andijan region (112.3 billion soums) and Samarkand region (99 billion soums) led on consumer goods output in the monetary terms.
The lowest volume of consumer goods production in the monetary terms was observed in Jizzakh region (14.8 billion soums) and Karakalpakstan Republic (15.1 billion soums).
