Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The national stand of Uzbekistan is presented at the largest international tourism exhibition IFTM Top Resa 2019 in Paris.

The exhibition runs from 1 to 4 October, according to preliminary forecasts, it will be visited by about 34 thousand visitors and more than 1.5 thousand tourism professionals.

Our country, with the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the Development of Tourism and the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France, is represented by Uzbekistan Airways and 12 tourist organizations. At the booth, the Uzbek delegation provides all visitors with detailed information about Uzbekistan, its popular routes, developing tourism, visa liberalization and recent reforms in this industry.

The event plans to organize meetings of representatives of the Uzbek delegation with foreign partners to discuss possible cooperation in the future. “The purpose of our participation at IFTM Top Resa 2019 is to introduce our company to French tourism organizations and those who are looking for new routes. Our company is interested in participating in any European exhibition. Participation in such an event with a national stand has a number of advantages - a large area, a beautiful stand and an official delegation - all this gives partners a sense of reliability.

Innovations in the field of tourism, such as the abolition of the visa regime for citizens of many countries, the increase in international flights, the creation of new railway routes and a positive attitude towards the private sector, create new favorable conditions for tour operators.

Participation in such large-scale exhibitions allows us to launch new constructive events. Therefore, these events are very useful for us, said a representative of Silk Road. Representatives of the tourist service “Havas” noted that they have been cooperating with French companies for more than 10 years. “It is important for us to meet with them, find and attract new partners,” the company employee added.

“We have been working in the tourism market for more than 1 year. About 80% of the tourists we host are citizens of France, Belgium and Switzerland. Participation in the tourism exhibition Top Resa is very important for us. We will definitely come here once a year to strengthen our position in the French tourism market, since we work here with large and small travel agencies for a reception. At the same time, we are looking for new partners to increase the number of tourists traveling to Uzbekistan, ”the representative of Culture du Monde said.
