During negotiations of two foreign ministries in Tashkent at the level of deputy foreign ministers, the sides considered issues of developing bilateral relations in politics, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. They also exchanged opinion on international and regional issues of mutual interest.

The sides noted high level of the Uzbek-Polish relations and called for its further development in all directions. The sides expressed interest in continuation of political dialogue between two states.

During talks, the sides underlined that strengthening foreign political interaction create real conditions for further development of bilateral relations, strengthen coordination and mutual understanding on key international and regional issues, which meet interests of both countries and assist to lift cooperation to new level.

The delegation of Poland led by Under-Secretary of State of Foreign Ministry Henryk Litwin was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade Elyor Ghaniev, Foreign Minister Vladimir Norov and First Deputy Minister on Culture and Sport Affairs Bakhtiyor Sayfullaev.

During these meetings, the sides considered issues of further deepening and expanding bilateral collaboration in various spheres. The sides discussed actual issues of regional security, including achievement of peace and stability in Afghanistan, situation in Kyrgyz Republic, as well as rational use of water resources at trans-boundary rivers in Central Asia.

In the result of the talks, it was noted that political consultation between Foreign Ministries of Poland and Uzbekistan were held in constructive and business atmosphere.

The sides agreed to hold next round of political consultation between Foreign Ministries of Poland and Uzbekistan in Warsaw, Poland, in 2011.
