Uzbekistan plans to host FIFA U-17 World Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan is planning to host the FIFA U-17 World Cup, which will be held in 2017, FIFA reported.

Uzbekistan Football Federation (UFF) has officially submitted an application to FIFA on its intention to host the tournament.

Along with Uzbekistan, India, Ireland and South Africa are also interested in hosting the tournament.

According to FIFA, host country of the FIFA U-17 World Cup will be announced in December 2013.
