Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan plans to grow and harvest 4.11 million tons of potatoes in 2024, Uzbek Agriculture Inspectorate said.

According to the department, for the 2024 harvest in Uzbekistan, potatoes have been planted on 202.8 thousand hectares of land.

According to calculations, the average yield per 1 hectare of planted potatoes is expected to be 203 centners.

In addition, in 2024 it is planned to plant potatoes as a secondary crop on 50 thousand hectares of land. For this purpose, about 150 thousand tons of potato seeds have been prepared.
