Uzbekistan plans to create 983,500 jobs in 2014

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Parliamentary factions of political parties and MPs Group of Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan held a sessions on the eve of the plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, scheduled for 20 November 2013.

The sessions considered a draft programme on creation of job places and employment of population for 2014.

It was noted that the draft programme on creation of job places and employment of population for 2014 is directed at creating new jobs through launch of new objects, modernization and update of the capacities of the enterprises, development of small businesses, construction, service sector, etc.

The programme was developed with participation of local Councils of MPs, enterprises and businesses, MPs noted.

It was said that the programme envisages to create 983,600 new jobs and special attention will be paid to employment of college graduates, unemployed people, people with disabilities, single parents, etc.

The programme stipulates that about 500,000 graduates of professional colleges will be provided with job in 2014. The special measures will be adopted in each city and districts on employment of college graduates.

The parliamentary factions of political parties and MPs Group of Ecologic Movement of Uzbekistan developed their positions on the document.
