Press-uz.info reported that the investment of AGC could make up about US$1 billion. The report said 12 investment projects will attract credits for 499.6 million. It added five more projects worth around US$298.3 million are now under consideration.
It is expected that about US$340 million of credits will be directed to realize five projects in irrigation and melioration. In particular, it is planned to attract US$150 million to launch collectors in Khorezm region and US$79 million to rehabilitate irrigation and drainage systems in Jizzakh and Syrdarya region, the report added.
The Arabian Coordination Group unites Islamic Development Bank, Saudi Development Fund, Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, OPEC International Development Fund and Abu-Dhabi Development Fund.
