Uzbekistan was invited at invitation of the Budapest regional center for competition (RCC OECD-GVN) and Federal Antimonopoly service of Russia.
The seminar considered issues related to electricity energy, competition in production, distribution and realization of power energy, etc. The sides considered examples of integrated power markets and approaches to regulation in the European countries.
The RCC is a partner project of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Hungarian agency on competition issues directed at ensuring institutional development of competition policy and its implementation in Eastern and Southern-Eastern Europe.
The seminar was attended by representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan, European countries - France, Finland, Holland, Hungary, etc.
