Uzbekistan opens Samarqand Digital Hub in San Francisco
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In San Francisco, United States, an innovation center named Samarqand Digital Hub has begun operations, focusing on the development of startups and support for young technology specialists from Uzbekistan.
The opening ceremony was attended by the hokim of Samarkand region, Adiz Boboev, who reviewed the center’s infrastructure, technological capabilities, and working conditions for startup teams.
On the first day of operations, the hub signed a memorandum of cooperation with Humonola Inc aimed at developing startup projects and expanding opportunities for Uzbek developers and innovators in international markets, including the United States.
The Samarqand Digital Hub is expected to become an important platform for developing the IT and startup ecosystem, as well as strengthening technological cooperation and engagement with global investors.
