Uzbekistan opened the score in the 29th minute of the match through efforts of Kendja Turaev. Pakhtakor captain Odil Akhmedov doubled the lead thirteen minute later. Bangladesh defender Islom scored own-goal in the 81st minute.

Uzbekistan will play next match against Hong Kong on 9 November, and will wrap up the group stage with the match against the UAE on 11 November.

The top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the Round of 16.
