Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chairman of the Rules Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Talal Fahad Al Ahmad al Sabah recently visited Tashkent. During the visit, in the presence of a high-ranking guest, new stages of cooperation with the OCA were discussed. The guest was welcomed by the Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Azizjon Kamilov.

At the meeting, O. Kasimov emphasized the attention paid to the promotion of the Olympic Movement and a healthy lifestyle in our country, the reforms carried out in this direction, and practical work. A. Kamilov informed about the preparations for the Asian Games Hangzhou-2022 and the holding of the Youth Asian Games Tashkent-2025.

In turn, the high-ranking guest highly appreciated the potential of domestic sports, emphasizing that Uzbekistan is one of the most active members of the OCA. It is worth noting that Talal Al-Sabah is one of the candidates in the OCA presidential elections, which will be held on July 8. During the meeting, he spoke in detail about his plans, which are expected to be implemented, about projects to develop the OCA and sports on our continent.

During the conversation, cooperation was touched not only with the OCA, but also new aspects of relations in the sports field between Kuwait and Uzbekistan.
