Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Ayubkhon Yunusov met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Pharmaceutical Importers Association and the CEO of Al Mojil Drug Company, Faisal al-Mojil, Dunyo news agency reported.
The Kuwaiti side was briefed on Uzbekistan’s modern development, its economic potential, and opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
Discussions focused on organizing the export of medical products and pharmaceuticals manufactured in Uzbekistan to Kuwait.
The Kuwaiti delegation reviewed product samples from Tashkent, Andijan, Fergana, Syrdarya regions, and Karakalpakstan.
To further discuss the presented projects in detail, it was proposed to organize online negotiations between representatives of the Kuwaiti Pharmaceutical Importers Association and pharmacies and relevant organizations in Uzbekistan.
Faisal al-Mojil noted that he visited Uzbekistan in 1999, visiting landmarks in Tashkent and Samarkand. He also expressed admiration for the country’s rapid economic growth and significant achievements in recent years.
"We are ready to commence negotiations with Uzbekistan’s ministries and companies to implement mutually beneficial projects," he emphasized.
