The documents were signed within the state visit of the President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak to Uzbekistan on invitation of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov.

The documents envisage creation of educational center on training national specialists in introduction of innovation technologies, electronic libraries, general plan on decreasing energy losses at distribution networks and pilot programme on introduction of automated metering system, as well as greenhouses.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Korea to Uzbekistan Jun Daewan signed an agreement on behalf of the Korean side.
