Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 22 to 26 April 2019, a regular meeting of the Governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Joint Uzbek-Kazakh demarcation commission in Gulistan.
During the event, the parties continued to work on drafting the final documents on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Kazakh State border.
During the visit of the Kazakhstan delegation in Uzbekistan, joint field surveys were conducted at the hotel sites of the interstate border.
At the meeting, the parties exchanged proposals on the demarcation line at certain sections of the State Border within the Tashkent and Jizzakh regions of Uzbekistan related to the Turkestan region of Kazakhstan.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the talks, the heads of delegations - Tulkin Abdullayev, First Deputy State Committee on Land Cadastre of Uzbekistan and Vyacheslav Gizzatov, Ambassador on Special Assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, signed the relevant Protocol.
According to the schedule of meetings, the next meeting will be held in Kazakhstan.
