Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan discuss border demarcation issues

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26-30 November, a meeting of the Governmental delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in the Joint Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan demarcation commission, in Almaty.

At the meeting, the parties summed up the activities carried out in 2018, as well as outlined the scope of work for the next year.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and in a spirit of mutual understanding.

Following the event, the Protocol was signed.

The next meeting of the Joint Commission will be held in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
