Uzbekistan, Jordan discuss legal issues of cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19-21 February 2019, consultations between legal services of Foreign Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on legal issues of cooperation have taken place in Amman.

Following the inter-MFA consultations, the sides clarified the legal status of Uzbekistan – Jordan agreements and exchanged information on the state of their implementation, as well as agreed to intensify elaboration of draft promising documents, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The delegation of the Ministry also held a number of meetings in various ministries and agencies of Jordan to discuss draft bilateral agreements under consideration.

At the negotiations held at Jordan Investment Commission, the ministries of Tourism and Antiques, Agriculture, Justice and Interior, the texts of draft treaties in relevant spheres were considered. The sides exchanged information on best practices of the two countries in tourism, agriculture, promotion and protection of investment and other issues.
