Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan introduces a visa-free regime for a period of 30 days from the date of entry into the country for citizens of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 20 March 2019.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree "On measures to further simplify the regime of entry to the Republic of Uzbekistan for citizens of the United Arab Emirates."

The head of Uzbekistan instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue multiple-entry visas for up to one year to citizens of the United Arab Emirates visiting Uzbekistan for business purposes, within 3 working days in foreign institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, not counting the day of accepting documents.

Uzbek leader also cancelled requirements to provide invitation from legal entity of Uzbekistan to the Foreign Ministry.
