Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan introduces excise tax on mobile services from 1 January 2019.

Excise tax is introduced in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan “On forecast of main macroeconomic indicators and parameters of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2019 and budget guidelines for 2020-2021”.

According to the document, the excise tax rate on mobile services will be 15% of the total cost of services rendered.

At the same time, the size of the fee for using a subscriber number paid by legal entities providing mobile services (mobile companies) reduced to 2,000 soums a month.
