Uzbekistan introduces changes to rules of staying of foreign citizens in the country
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Government of Uzbekistan introduced changes and amendments to order of entry and exit, as well as rule of stay of foreign citizen and persons without citizenship in the country.

The document decreased number of cases, on which foreign citizens can receive refusal to enter Uzbekistan.

In line with changes, previous convictions for legislation of the country, which were not cancelled, will not be reason for refusal to enter territory of Uzbekistan.

Foreign citizen can be expelled from Uzbekistan if they violate rules of stay in the territory of Uzbekistan, including living without residence permission or forged documents, order of temporary or permanent residence, refuse to leave country after term of his stay end, rules of transit. The Uzbekistan can also ban this person from entry to Uzbekistan from one to three years.

Foreign citizen, who violated legislation of Uzbekistan, can be expelled from the country after they fully serve their sentence or their release from criminal responsibility or punishments in line with the legislation.

After that they will not be allowed to enter Uzbekistan for five years if they committed crimes, which do not represent great threat to public security or are not grave crimes.

Foreigners, who committed grave crimes, will not be allowed to enter Uzbekistan for ten years and those, who committed very serious crimes, will not be able to enter the country forever.
