The document envisages approval of the regulation on procedure of certification in the system of tourist-friendly, the press service of the State Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Voluntary certification in the tourist-friendly system stipulates voluntary certification of accommodation facilities, food outlets, galleries, museums, transport organizations and other tourist facilities, as well as tourist infrastructure. The system confirms that the institutions comply with sanitary norms, quality and product range requirements, a functioning hot water supply system, backup power supply systems, video surveillance systems and other security measures, personnel, speaking foreign languages, different payment systems and other criteria.

In addition, the holders of the certificate are awarded a special quality mark, designed in English.

Adoption of this project will ensure the provision of services to tourists around the clock and improve the quality of the provided tourist services, as well as improve choice for tourists.
