Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — According to the National Statistics Committee, Uzbekistan exported 32,859 tons of mung beans worth US$30 million between January and June 2025.

While overall exports fell by 4,160 tons compared to the same period last year, new markets are emerging. China remains the leading destination with 27,514 tons, followed by Kazakhstan (1,714 tons), Afghanistan (1,017 tons), the Netherlands (714 tons), and Russia (526 tons). Other countries accounted for 1,374 tons.

Of particular note is the entry of Uzbek mung beans into the European market, with over 700 tons delivered to the Netherlands in the first half of the year.
