Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-April 2021, Uzbekistan imported 628,900 mobile phones worth US$45.4 million, the press service of the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan reported.

The volume of imports of mobile phones compared to the same period in 2020 increased by 399,570 units.

In particular, 422,100 mobile phones were imported from China, 72,900 from Vietnam, 63,500 from Kazakhstan and 42,600 from the UAE.

Another 27,700 mobile phones were imported from India, 600 from Russia and 16 from Japan.
