Uzbekistan imports 5,800 tons of tea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January-February 2025, Uzbekistan imported 5,800 tons of tea worth US$8.5 million, according to the National Statistics Committee.

The largest volumes came from China, with 4,720.5 tons, followed by Iran with 360.3 tons and Kenya with 160.6 tons.

Additionally, Uzbekistan purchased 130.9 tons of tea from Russia, 99 tons from India, and 72.6 tons from the UAE.
