Uzbekistan imports 12,913 electric vehicles

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2024, Uzbekistan imported 12,913 electric vehicles worth US$166.8 million, according to data from the Statistics Agency.

The majority of these vehicles, specifically 12,840 units, were imported from China.

The remainder of the imports was distributed among Kazakhstan (22 units), Hong Kong (15 units), Germany (12 units), the UAE (10 units), and the USA (9 units).
