The committee said that the programme on development of broadband internet with use of Wi-Fi technology for 2014-2015 is implemented now and it is directed at creating opportunity to determine strategic direction of development of wireless access to Internet with use of Wi-Fi technology.

The programme is aimed at creating access to broadband internet with use of Wi-Fi technologies in each region of Uzbekistan, including at airports, railway stations, touristic sights, parks, trade centers and other public places.
