He said that Uzbekistan is implementing mid-term projects directed at diversification of economy due to organization of high technologic production, he said.
The list includes projects in industrial sector and directed at modernizing transport infrastructure and increasing transit potential of the country.
Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan Galina Saidova addedthat the projects with total cost of over US$50 billion will be implemented in industry and with infrastructure projects the programme cost exceeds US$75 billion.
According to the Uzbek Government, implementation of these projects will help to increase share of industrial sector in structure of the GDP in 2016 to 28% against 24% in 2012 and 14.2% in 2000.
At the same time, average annual growth of industrial production makes up 9.3% and share of ready products in industrial production will grow from 41% to 60%.
