Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 18 to 22 March, a delegation from the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications visited the city of London, United Kingdom, where they held a number of meetings with organizations and IT companies.

As a result of the negotiations, agreements were reached on the participation of local IT companies and the representation of our republic in London TechWeek 2019, the participation of “start-up projects of Inha University in Tashkent and TUIT in the UK support programs in order to attract funds from the Open Fund contacts with the Alan Turing Institute for the organization of training of local personnel for graduate and doctoral programs.

During the visit, the delegation also signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Tech Nation Agency, which envisages cooperation on the application of Tech Nation programs to support IT entrepreneurs in the Technology Park of software products and information technologies in the city of Tashkent, exchange experience on improving the ecosystem to support IT companies programs and support mechanisms for technology companies, selection of promising IT companies and their further financing.
