Uzbekistan, Great Britain discuss situation in Afghanistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 13 May, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev met with the British Ambassador to Uzbekistan Christopher Allan.

At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan, prospects of launching the inter-Afghan peace dialogue, as well as Uzbekistan – British cooperation in this area, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
