Uzbekistan – Georgia: International cooperation in agricultural education
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — T. Atakulov, Head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Agriculture of Uzbekistan, is currently on an official visit to Georgia.
As part of the trip, he held a meeting with the leadership of Georgian Technical University, where they discussed cooperation in the development of agricultural education and scientific research.
Following the negotiations, an agreement on cooperation was signed between Tashkent State Agrarian University and Georgian Technical University.
Under the agreement, a joint master’s program in viticulture will be launched with Georgian Technical University, which is ranked among the top 1,000 universities in the QS rankings.
This initiative aims to train highly qualified specialists based on international expertise, promote innovative agricultural research, and expand academic collaboration between the two institutions.
