Uzbekistan futsal team suffers heavy defeat to Brazil

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan futsal team played their first friendly match against Brazil in Tashkent.

The Brazilian team won decisively with a score of 9-2.

For Uzbekistan, the goals were scored by Abbas Elmurodov and Husnidin Nishonov.

The second friendly match between Uzbekistan and Brazil is scheduled for 8 September.

Both teams are preparing for the FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024™, which will take place in Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan will compete in Group A alongside the Netherlands, Paraguay, and Costa Rica.

FIFA Futsal World Cup 2024™will be held from 14 September to 6 October  in Tashkent, Andijan, and Bukhara.
