The sides considered actual issues of bilateral relations, including proposals on expanding mutual interaction in political, trade-economy, cultural-humanitarian sectors, the Uzbek ministry said in a statement.
They also discussed schedule of contacts between two states in various levels, holding of Uzbek-Finnish political consultations, boosting activities of joint cooperation institutes, expanding legal-agreement base.
The sides underlined interest in expanding mutual trade turnover and its diversification, implementing investment projects in such areas as electrotechnical, chemistry, light and food industry, telecommunication, resource saving technologies, etc.
At the meeting, the sides underlined mutual interest in establishing direct contacts among educational establishments of Uzbekistan and Finland.
