Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with an epicenter in Kyrgyzstan was felt in some areas of Uzbekistan, in particular in Yangikurgan and Chartak districts, where the force of the tremors reached 2 points. This was reported by the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The earthquake occurred on 4 April at 03:43 local time. The magnitude of the earthquake was 4, and its depth was only 5 km.
The epicenter was located in the northeast direction from Tashkent at a distance of approximately 261 km.
