Uzbekistan received 93 heads of Fleckvieh cows in April 2013 at the assistance of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Uzbekistan. The cows were transported with trailers through Poland, Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The embassy said that Czech cows are more productive compared to local breeds. The Czech cows give 27 liters of milk per day with 3.5-4% fat content.
The diplomatic mission said that soon Uzbekistan will receive several hundreds of cows from the Czech Republic.
