Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistical Agency, in January-May of this year, Uzbekistan exported a total of 32,800 tons of sweet cherries to 15 countries of the world.
The total export value of sweet cherries was US$38.9 million.
The volume of exports of these products increased by 14,400 tons compared to the same period of last year.
The structure of exports of sweet cherries from Uzbekistan for the first 5 months of 2023:
Russia – 19,800 tons
Kazakhstan – 6,400 tons
Kyrgyzstan – 6,100 tons
Belarus - 333 tons
UAE - 36 tons
China - 29 tons
Malaysia - 17 tons
Saudi Arabia - 10.5 tons
In January-June 2022, Uzbekistan exported 24,400 tons of cherries to 14 countries in the amount of US$33.3 million.
