Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to August 2024, Uzbekistan exported 174.1 thousand tons of polyethylene, amounting to a total of US$141.1 million, according to the State Statistics Agency.

Compared to the same period in 2023, polyethylene exports increased by 11.7 thousand tons.

Over the first eight months of this year, Uzbekistan supplied polyethylene to 15 countries.

Specifically, 80.2 thousand tons were shipped to Turkey, 27.4 thousand tons to Latvia, and 23.5 thousand tons to Russia.

China imported 20.1 thousand tons, Kazakhstan received 16.2 thousand tons, and Georgia imported 2.9 thousand tons of polyethylene.
